We could test it for almost one day, the “taurob tracker”. This robot is produced and developed by Taurob a company from vienna and truly designed for explosive missions.
The robot is ATEX certified and extremely robust. As the official RoboCup rescue team at TU-Graz we had the particular concern to test this robot under our competition conditions.
To get a slight impression what this means just have a look at the following images. Our conclusion: The taurob tracker perfectly operates in RoboCup rescue arenas.
The robot is only lacking one kind of thing from our point of view – (artificial) intelligence which the operator needs to contribute at the moment
