Time has passed and our team is trying to implement new features.
Some of the rules have changed: special obstacles within the road (rigid and soft).
The robot can easily drive through the soft obstacles but should avoid the rigid ones which are harder to cross.
Each team can earn additional points if the robot is able to locate and deal with these obstacles.
These rule changes increase the complexity and make the autonomous challenge a lot more interesting!

Die ersten Impressionen des Wettkampfes aus Magdeburg zeigen die Vorbereitungsphase.
In dieser Zeit werden unser Arbeitsplatz sowie der Roboter vorbereitet.
Wir freuen uns, dass die Rettungsarena bereits fertiggestellt ist und Wowbagger
augenblicklich Explorationsversuche unternehmen kann. Derzeit tuned unser Team mehrere
Parameter, die das Fahrverhalten entscheidend verändern.
Außerdem wird das ganze System immer und immer wieder getestet.

Here are the first impressions of the competition site in Magdeburg.
As you can see, we have already settled down and our working place is ready for some hacking!
We were happy to see that the rescue arena is almost completed and Wowbagger
could instantly try some exploration attempts. Right now the team is tuning some parameters and keeps testing the hole setup.

Der Bewerb findet in dieser Woche von 24.-26. April statt.
Unser Team ist gut vorbereitet und Wowbagger freut sich schon,
sein gelerntes Wissen vorführen zu dürfen und uns viele Punkte zu bringen!

Today is our first day of our journey to the RoboCup German Open 2015.
The competition will be held in this week from 24.-26. April.
Our team is well prepared and Wowbagger is looking forward to some
great runs and many many victims!
Taurob Visit!
We could test it for almost one day, the “taurob tracker”. This robot is produced and developed by Taurob a company from vienna and truly designed for explosive missions.

Fast einen ganzen Tag lang durften wir ihn testen – den „taurob tracker“. Dieser Roboter wird von der Firma Taurob in Wien hergestellt und ist für wahrlich explosive Einsätze konzipiert.

Hackathon ist vorbei!
War es die Mühe wert? Ja!
Sind wir fertig? Nein.
Aber unsere Leidenschaft kennt nun einmal keine Grenzen.
Viele Probleme wurden gelöst und neue Hindernisse, wie etwa Sand und Kies, sind entstanden.
Anhand der nachfolgenden Bilder könnt ihr Einblicke in ein paar Highlights gewinnen,
